Camryn Garrett is an NAACP Image Award-nominated author and filmmaker of five novels for young people. Her work has received rave reviews from outlets such as *Entertainment Weekly* and *The Guardian*, been featured on the Today Show, and been translated into nine languages. Her novel, *Friday I’m in Love,* was featured as part of Coach’s Courage to Be Real campaign. Camryn is also interested in filmmaking and has written and directed several short films.
